About

I am a certified Jungian analyst, licensed psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in private practice in New York City and around the world through tele-analysis. I have studied and graduated in hard sciences, having a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and an M.Sc. degree in materials science. After university, I attended for many years the storied school of visual arts at Parque Lage, an avant-garde contemporary conceptual art school in Rio. Before going for psychoanalytic training I worked in hospitals and homes as a volunteer visiting individuals facing life threatening illnesses. I graduated as a Jungian analyst and psychoanalyst from the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association of New York (JPA). Besides belonging to the practicing analyst’s body of the JPA, I am an analyst member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) of Zurich. I have written several technical papers and taken part in many presentations, classes and panels about Jungian psychology for the general public and Jungian professionals. I offer Jungian analysis, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for individuals in English and Portuguese.
